I just picked up my Sunsport 24 SSV and I noticed that the driver side sunpad automatically lifts when I lift the engine cover. I was told this is normal but wanted to see if anyone else had noticed this. It seems to hold fine when the engine cover is down.

It happens and can be annoying. Skier's Choice is such a great company I am sure they can help you with it through your dealer. I have found them to be outstanding with ensuring I am happy with all the aspects of my boat and it's fit and finish.

Mine does not lift up.... but I only have a 22. I would be suprised it the 22 and 24 are designed to be different.

Btw, what happened to the weather over here? It was awesome yesterday (Thursday), but now it is cold and WINNNNDDDY.

Im guessing your stuff is a little tight so when the engine cover lifts up theres less resistance on the side pad. It should "calm" down a little bit.

When you say "calm" down do you mean use will take some of the pressure out of the cylinder?

Thanks
