I have an exile audio ZLD MK2 zoned line driver/EQ for sale. It was in my boat when I purchased it and the previous owner had just got it before the sale. The ZLD MK2 is the newest one with all the improvements and it came out this year so it's the most recent Exile tech.

I can't tell you know nice it is to be able to control the output levels of your towers, cabin speakers, and sub separately. You'll never want to live without one once you've had one.

Retail price is $300 and I'll sell this one for $225 shipped.

Just curious -- what are you replacing it with?

Haven't decided between a 420SQ and a 420BT. I know they're really similar to the ZLD, but I got used to the 420 in my last boat and figured I could sell this one and get into a 420 again. Both brands are great and do an amazing job. I figure if I can sell this one it's a good excuse to change things up.

I have owned several WS-420 over the various boats. I won't be without - but I didn't know there was a bluetooth model now. Hmmmmmmmm that could solve a problem or 2 currently since we upgraded the phones .....

This isn't really helping me sell my Exile ZLD MK2...

Just sayin'!

It's a great deal!

Sorry trayson. Didn't mean to hijack the thread. I think the exile looks like a great option for folks wanting to have easy speaker controls I think I would seriously look at this if I were shopping right now

The Exile is sold.

So yeah, I'm going to get a WS420SQ in its place. I just like a few of the features of the WS unit better.

Why not BT model?

For the extra $100, it just wasn't worth it to me. I had BT in my last boat through the deck, and it was great for the fact that I could play music off my phone and still have it out to take pics and text. But as it is, if I'm running music off my phone it's in the car dock that's suctioned to my windshield and that's good enough.

We have a lot of options for audio as it is... and typically it's been the Ipod or using a USB flash drive.

My biggest gripe with the BT on my last boat is that every time we cranked the ignition, it would interrupt the BT signal for that millisecond and in turn make my phone PAUSE the music player. Not a huge deal when I'm driving, but it's a pain when I'm in the water and that happens and I have to talk someone through un-pausing my music on a phone they can't really see the display of well in bright sunlight. Bottom line is that BT ended up being more trouble than it's worth.

You can see my phone dock in these pics:

I always keep music and telecommunication on separate devices. NOthings more annoying then someone DJ'ing a party and being interrupted by text/email/facebook/phonecall/etc.

Yep, one of the guys on the Moomba forum bought it.

Thanks.
