 Holy gas prices. They have just passed 3.65 per gallon in Grand Rapids, MI and they are expected to continue to rise through the pre-holiday week. I wish my 89 comp didn't drink so much.

What are gas prices where you are at? Maybe mine isn't so high.

Hey that is cheap! It is now over $4/gallon in Chicago - for regular unleaded, I am scared to check out the dock prices!

It was $3.10/gal for regular this mornin here in Bama. I havent had to go to the fuel dock yet, boat has been on the trailer b/c our lift just got fixed this mornin.

On a side note, we took a little river trip a coupla weeks ago. 33 miles round trip on 11.5 gals of fuel. 3mpg isnt too bad for the old girl cruising at 2900rpm @ 33mph.

$3.34 Here in Indiana; We always fuel up prior to going out... even if it means loading gas cans in the back of the truck & avoiding the gas dock all together. When its real bad... I just putter out to the sand bar & then I do all the drinking!

Prices at the fuel dock are generally 30 to 50 cents higher than on the road.

Something yall might consider: some states allow you to send in your receipts for boat fuel and get a refund on the state gasoline taxes. They allow this b/c gas taxes are often pegged for road maintenance, and boat don't use roads, at least not under their own power. You might check your local laws to find out.

I filled up this afternoon at the fuel dock at one of our 3 marinas. $3.60/gal. I'm hoping the other one will be a bit lower. They start opening 7days/wk after memorial day.

Filled up last night here in Georgia. $3.05 per gallon. Not the worst out there but still ridiculous. Someone in our government needs to work on this out of control problem.

It's 2.94 here in Austin (off the water).... sorry you all are getting raped. BTW...I've been running 87 in my 2006 Supra 21v since last summer and I haven't had any problems.

We're down to $2.82 for name brand regular unleaded on the road here in Bama. The marina i use finally opened up for the season, They're at $3.26 for mid-grade. Honestly, i really can't complain about that price, its not obnoxiously higher than the price on the road. I think its worth the $0.30/gal premium to avoid the possibilty of explosions from hauling gas cans in the truck. We keep the boat on a lift during the summer.
