Hey everyone! It's been a long time since I was last on this site. I was gone enjoying my Supra!! Recently, got accepted into college and won't be able to bring my boat with me. Really in need of selling this beauty and the cash. I have put it up on Craigslist http://charlotte.craigslist.org/boa/4939757867.html so hope yall will take a look at it.

Give me feedback if you want. Many of you may have read my thread where I was restoring the boat. It's not finished but it's pretty darn close, mostly just cosmetic things. I'm asking $10000.00 as a starting point but I won't refuse to listen to any reasonable offer.
Thanks,

tryathlete

Shine her up and clean her up and she will sell very fast. That's a desirable boat all rebuilt versus a risky stringer boat. $10K ought to be a nice deal if the last pieces of vinyl are replaced. Seriously, what else could it need?

If it ain't broke, sell it.

Good luck with the sale...just sold mine a couple months ago. If you have a bunch of pictures of the rebuild, you might add some key ones to your ad with a photobucket link or similar. Try to represent all the work that went in to your restoration as best you can.

So this isn't a knock but there are a millions boats out there for sale. For 10k people are going to want to see a boat that shines, and the interior is clean. That being said I love salts and am looking for one close to me. They are tough to find especially with a stringer job done. If I was selling your boat I would spend a weekend wet sanding and polishing her. You do that and you'll get your asking price. Good luck.

Thanks for the suggestions guys!
I've got to get rid of this boat so I'm definitely willing to come down in price.

The problem you're facing is it needs a lot to get it back and the price isn't reflecting it. I would be interested if shipping isn't out of site but no where near what you want.

Cusefan, I know $10k is way to high. I actually posted it on onlyinboards.com for $8900. I'm willing to negotiate heavily on the price. I've got to get out of it. Yes, it will need some interior work and cosmetic stuff but as far as functionality it's great. It's also had all the major things done to it that make these boats nightmares. I'm moving to Erie, PA area at the end o May so I've got to get rid of this boat before then.

Yeah I know. I read your thread. 8900 is more then I would want to spend on what your boat needs. The problem you're facing is you have done all the stuff you don't see. People want the stuff you can see done. I went through all the pics for a project boat that it is it's going to need a ton to get it where it needs to be. My offer would be far less then what you want so I'm going to pass. Good luck it really will be a great boat for someone

Bumping this up again!!
I am in desperate need of selling this boat! Willing to let it go at a hell of a deal!!! Don't buy a boat that needs the stringers/floor/engine redone! But this one with all the expensive stuff already taken care of!!!!

I have reached out several times on the onlyinboards add but haven't received a response. please email or call me if you still have it. I have a friend that could come look at it this week.

Smuurph that is a great looking boat I hope you can track him down. No offense to all the other salts I have seen for sale on here but that is the cream of the crop for salts. If I didn't buy a new bass boat this year I would have jumped on it.
