I saw this boat on Craigslist last week. His first ad only stated it needed "minor work." When I texted him to ask what work it needed, he replied that "only" stringers are soft and various other wood needed replaced. :eek:

Mine had that "minor" problem a couple years ago. Took me eight months to fix

I don't think stringers hold the platform. It's two plywood pads. Maybe get this boat cheap if stringers are ok. Easy to check. Bring a hammer to tap tap tap and a wrench to check the engine and tranny bolts.

I'm kind of fond of the rope holding up the swim platform, I wish I had thought of that, then I wouldn't have had to repair mine, although I guess the rope kind of gets in the way of when you're putting on your ski:cool:

Minor work. That's when you pay your kids to replace th stringers, right?
