i just did a complete overhaul on my PCM 351w on a Supra comp, and i came up with sime trouble, engine is overheating, my question is, conventional 351w gaskets are the same as marine, it looks that my cylinders are not getting water, it just gets pretty damn hot down there? impelerr and pump are new and they are working perfect
cheers

No personal experience on this, but I do remember something about making sure the gaskets go on the right way. Apparently you can flip them (side to side or end to end I don't remember) but the upshot is that you can end up covering a water jacket. Hope this helps.

Agree with Chris Young. It's very easy to put head gaskets on the wrong way covering up water jackets. I'd sure check it. Have you run the boat on the trailer? If so, are you getting water out of both exhaust pipes? That's what I'd check first before dismantling the engine. Just my .02

That's probably what happened in his case , that's why I asked about the heads ,
