Hi everyone. I'm looking to buy a 2003 Supra Launch SSV. The current representative selling the boat is unsure whether the boat has a ballast system.

According to these posts, A ballast system is standard:

However, the owners manual for 2003 says it is optional, but that could be for their full lineup. Was hoping someone could weigh (no pun intended) in before I go and check the boat out.

Thanks!

That was my first NEW boat Supra 2003 SSV
Just traded it in a year ago w/1100hrs on her for the new SA w/swell

My SSV came with 250 sacs on each of the engine and a 650 up front all plumbed in.
Three switches by the drivers right knee on the starboard wall. Thought the ballast was standard in the SSV but that was a long time ago and might have been an option.

Upgraded the rear to 400 lb sacs - for surfing we put an additional 400 on the floor and one on the seat of the side we were riding.
Having a good sized guy (180 and up) sit on the sunpad to catch the rope helped the wave.

Good boat
