Just thought id pop in and say Hi, and introduce myself (im English so polite like that :) )
Ive been skiing, coaching and competition boat driving for *ahem* a few years (well lets just say its 30+) haha.
Just bought myself an old 1993 TS6M as it was my favourite boat to drive back in the 90's and much better wake than my old Nautique 2001 for slalom and jump, but not quite as good for trick runs.
It was a toss up between the Flightcraft or the TS6, seeing as i couldnt get hold of an old flightcraft then TS6 it was. Got it as an absolute bargain here in the UK, an ex ski school boat, as it didnt have LPG conversion it was hardly used and has only 700 hrs on the meter.
So i have rewired and sorted the instruments out as they were getting old and tatty, serviced the motor, stripped, ultrasonically cleaned and rebuilt the gummed up Holley, polished the hull as it was a bit faded and commissioned and ordered a pair of windscreens to be made as they were de-laminating.
From a sorry old state to a nice little ski boat :D
Anyway, happy skiing / wakeboarding guys.
Any fellow Brits on here? could meet up and have a brewski :D
