I like the teak platform on my Sunsport. I don't like how small it is (20" from transom out). I've wanted to extend it without damaging the integrity. I've added an extension piece (5") of Sapele up by the transom and tried to make it seem OE. Duplicating teak pieces to extend was around $170 in materials alone. Have $20 and about 5 hours thus far with prep for oiling. Excited to see how it looks as boating season is on us in the Midwest.
