The season is upon us, go ahead and share your pics.

Splashed this past Sunday and had a relaxing day on the water. No riding, just a shakedown run and taking in the sights. Air was pleasant at nearly 80* and water was a brisk 58*, but refreshing. Only took a few pics...

Just as well I didn't take any pics of the boat, it just got a quick cleanup inside but still need to wash and wax. Lots of debris in the river, took a bit to clear the ramp and was still a pain to get debris out from between the hull and bunks when pulling out.

The 84 is finally done I put it in the water for sea trials . First trip had water splashing in at the rub rail . I thought by sealing the top to the bottom would have been sufficient
but still had to caulk the rub rail. Wife skied the second outing its amazing how tight and solid the boat is with the new stringers.

The 2015 Supra SE550 being used for the PWT tour was present at Southern Surfest last weekend and made quite the splash!! The boat rated really high and that 550 is unreal to see in action!! Here are few pics:

Sorry I missed it since its in my back yard . Not much advertising before the event maybe they don't want too many attending?

Sorry we missed you Michael. Yes we don't advertise for the event heavily, we are a group of riders, not industry people so we receive no direct financial benefit from the event and attempt to break even which we did this year but not last year so we contributed out of our own pockets. Our most active spot is our Facebook page, if you like us then you will be most informed that way plus we have our website. We occasionally post on boat owner forums but not too much... We have 40 rider slots and were oversold this year... this has become an annual event that will happen every 1st of May roughly. We would love to have you come, especially that you are right here on Lake Lanier. Thanks!!

Still doing sea trials 1st time out had water coming in from the rub rail and some dummy forgot to top off the trans fluid. The second test run had Ign problems. I am swamped with work and just cant stick with it to sort out all the gremlins.

Yep. Good memory. The oil pick up tube came out of the oil pump. Burnt up crank bearings and crank. So it's going through another rebuild. Top end is fine this time though.

Back to water this weekend, with new carburetor and ignition tuning, it's another boat, and I went from 27 liters/hour to 18 liters/hour of fuel !!! With good improvements : No more hesitation on off idle acceleration, no more black smoke at idle, no more black stuff in water coming out of exhausts. And a new PMGR starter, very fast crank, nice sound, no more heat etc.
Happy guy :)

Finally got "the other woman" back in the water over Memorial Day Weekend! The transom repair went really well and there is no longer any flex in the transom from the swim platform! However, I somehow managed to blow one of my exhaust flappers clear off the back . . . srews, retainer and all. When it did, water started coming in the screw holes making think that I had a leak in my newly repaired transom! Thankfully, it was nothing I did. :-)

Michael - the Comp looks spectacular . . . I would be more than happy to drive it for you at WTW Georgia this year! (wink, wink)

Feels great, right? I just got the "standard" tune-up done and upgraded new ignition in my 86 SunSport... it's like a whole new boat... lovin' in.

How's Lake Travis doing? I know that place was really low last year. You close to that at all? Sucks right now, but at least the lakes are filling back up.

05-28-2015, 10:27 AM
Jet...at first I thought you somehow had shots of actual boating. I was wondering how in the world you could pull that off.

Travis is up 30' so far in May. It's still on its way up from the recent deluge. It's now only about 10' lower than the average for this time of year. It's been low for so long it's kinda weird to see it looking like a lake again.

Got out lake but a couple hours relaxing on the water before the tide went down and had to pull out or be stuck until well after dark. Got some riding in last weekend before the wind came howling in but no pics unfortunately.

THose are Exile Bouy Balls. they are fantastic. They retail for $20 ea. I wouldn't trust anything else to protect my boat. they are great at the dock and in tie up's.

I used nylon webbing with the plastic cargo buckle clips.

Like this:

Did the 7hr drive up to KY for the TS truck pulls and 4 day boating trip with the wife, brother and his fiance. First time on Barren river lake, not a bad lake and found some good water, got to play with the new bigger bags and 5'6" fish board.

The wife and I spent last weekend at Prineville reservoir water temperature was right at 70. Monday night we decided to take the boat out at the John Day River water temperature there was is 80 way too warm for this time of year. But it did feel great.
