2011 Supra Sunsport 21V Engine starts but shuts down with put into gear

Just got the boat out of storage and using it for the first time this year. Put about 2 hrs on the boat it ran fine. Now it starts right up and idles fine, however when you put it into gear it shuts the engine off? I assume there is some senor out but cannot find anything about it. Anyone have any suggestions?

Does it start sputtering and die, or just cut off all together?

Could be TPS (throttle position sensor), or some kind of netural safety switch issue.

if it shuts right of as soon as you put it on gear i would go with NSS
