Good Morning,

I have a 95 Hydrocyne with a efi 5.8 gt40 engine, while diagnosing a misfire I noticed there is what appears to be 2 fule pumps inline with each other?? the one closest to the fuel tank is approx 3" tall and 3" round with wire going into the bottom, the next pump is 6" long and 3" round.
My question is wat this all about? the 1st on looke original and definately tired.
When I unplug the electrical connector to the 6" one the engine will not fire,

Thanks,

Fran

After a quick google search, I found a service manual, and it is indeed a low pressure fuel pump feeding the high pressure fuel pump. BTW my misfire is a bad plug.

Thanks,
