roswell mirror braket broke

A weld on my Roswell mirror bracket broke, after a screw stripped and backed out. It happened within my first year but my dealer ( Gonnasons in Kent WA) says the warranty is now over. I am bummed. Any one else have problems getting Roswell to warrantly their products? :(

The screw on mine backed out also. I replaced it with a longer screw (1/8 inches longer) and haven’t had any further problems.

Thanks for the reply, Yes the screw is too short. a longer screw is the right fix, but now I need a weld on poslished Alu. and the longer screw. The mirror bracket came with the boat a 22SSV bought new in apr of 2006, Did this happen to any one else? ie. did anyone else loose their screw?

My wife always tells me I have a few screws loose, but I don't think I lost any yet :lol:
