Boat not always starting!

I purchased a 2002 Supra Launch and some times it will not start.
When I turn the key it just makes a click sound and nothing happens.
After trying 5-10 times it finally starts.
Any thoughts on what is causing that? Starter going?

dont just jump to conclusions . what about the battery connections , or the starter solenoid .. both would cause same issue

To add to Lively's suggestion, check for voltage drop between battery ground and engine block same for positive side. Testing what you have is free, why not do it?
