Start to be cold here in France (63°F air/water), but we still enjoy the boat. Had a great weekend, and a wonderful faceplant for a girlfriend ...
Enjoy :

Yesterday should be my last day on the water for the season in KY :-( Commitments the next couple of weekends will likely get me too far into "winter"

That being said, it was a great cap to the season! A record (for me) 20 days on the water and 124 hours on the boat this season. Living an hour from the nearest boatable water, I'm proud of that! Caught an on-water demo day from Louisville Mastercraft and got a wake and surf set behind a new X46 and NXT22! Then of course an end of season sunset "goodbye" ride behind my yellow boat!

I didn't spend any time taking photos yesterday but had an absolutely incredible day here in the midwest yesterday. 85F temperature, 57F water temp. It was warm enough that the water was refreshing. Spent the first half of the day floating around with a bad fuel pump.... many beers were consumed. Then we got rescued, replaced the fuel pump on the water and were out surfing until sunset. What an end to summer!

Sunday was my last day this season. Ran hot laps around the lake to burn up the last of my fuel, caught one last sunset in the sun sport for the year. Now shes sleeping in the garage. The lake association starts dropping the water level on the 15th, and its pretty cold now, so it looks like im down graded to my kayak until spring. this time of year is depressing

Last trip to powell this year. My video was screwed so no video of surfing but the new lakewakes board and the surf tabs were awesome.

Nope, didn't even see her there until I looked at the picture later on. I was staring into the sun trying to take the picture.

The season continues into the fall in the PNW. The wife is hooked and is freeriding like a boss now.

Winds have been light, water temps are still in the low 60's. we've been getting days in the 70's, and no traffic on the rivers.

Also, have a new Lakewakes I'll be doing a demo on this weekend. should be fun to try out a new whip. Stay tuned...

Ok the supra's not in the picture, but this is my in-law's boat, a 1956 Shepherd. This thing SANK earlier this summer, and I don't mean the starter was underwater. 6 feet down. But it's so mechanically simple that it's just fine. It ran the next day, and it got all dried out and now it's back. For one more ride, then winterized.

I winterized my boat yesterday and it was 19F overnight! Sad as it is to winterize, I'm happy not to have to worry about the boat at all until spring. I made it through this whole season without so much as a single blown fuse or misfire of any sort. I changed the oil in July, tightened some loose bolts, changed out the fuel sending unit (to get it reading better)... that's about it.

gotta love the old woodies. What caused the old girl to sink? Glad it wasn't too much trouble to get it back on the water. It was down to 22f here the other night, and i still have to winterize. Had to leave the wood stove cooking in the garage all night just to be on the safe side. Blew out a freeze out plug when it sat outside last winter, i don't want to repeat that scene.

Thanks, yeah... well I don't know what the bill was. But it certainly fared better than something with more electrical parts, even like my '89 (EFI engine).

Anyway, they think a float switch on one of the bilge pumps got stuck 'up' and killed the battery... then we had some bad storms, plus the hull leaks a little (naturally)...

Last day out for the season. 64air 60water. Was able to get a pull before the season was over, I need to invest in a wet suit, ol board shorts didn't give much warmth.
