I'm running the JL in the cabin love the sound just want to know before I pull the trigger

Given some of the basic similarities between the two models, I would go with the JL simply for the aesthetics.

Both: are a true marine speaker, made to be an in-boat not really a tower speaker, 6.5" mid-bass cone, 1.0" tweeter, and similar power handling.
