Hello Everyone,

I recently purchased an 84 Supra Comp ts6m. Well after a whole lot of troubleshooting, I noticed my Alternator was dead. I also purchased a service and parts manual for my PCM 351w. It was I was to replace the old alternator with a better newer one(RA097006) and to replace the Main Breaker as-well with a 50amp breaker (R153006B). So I couldn't find the newer RA097006 but however I did find a Mando alternator that replaces the RA097006. So I purchased that one. It came in the mail and this is where the problem starts.

I have 3 wires running from the rest of the boat to my old Alternator. 1 Green wire which runs into my voltage regulators yellow wire(attached by a wire connector). And then one black wire running onto the negative ground wire trerminal. And then ofcourse the Orange Cable running to the Battery output(Positive outlet).

So that is all gravy. Check the oldalternator picture below if you want to see exactly what I am talking about.

The new alternator has 2 cables coming out of the Voltage Regulator. 1 Purple and 1 Red. Now I figured that the purple wire is supposed to go to the green wire.. and the black should go to the ground negative terminal and the orange should go to the battery output terminal. However... the 1 red wire coming out of the Alternator is supposed to be for a wire battery sense. Now I have no idea in the world on where to run this cable or if it is even anything usefull. The only thing I could figure out is that it is supposed to run with the purple wire into the green one?

If there is anyone who knows a lot about wiring, please let me know on what i'm supposed to do with that red wire.

Here is some more pictures that may help out.
