that's what I thought thank you, I wonder why it has that weird spotter seat and not the corner type seat? but it has a storage locker there? has anyone seen that on a stock sunsport

My Rider (predecessor to the SunSport) came that way and that's the way they were made. Those aren't the original seats, but it is the original configuration. Not sure what year they switched to the corner seat.

Thanks chris! Could this be a rider and not sunsport?? And is there anywhere i could find an original or repop seat?

Please post up a pic of your HIN number on starboard side of transom. Could be a Rider, most likely a Sunsport. My '83 Rider came with a single OB seat and 6 years ago I decided to change it to the later style bench. It was one of the best things I could have done to it. They started the OB bench in '84 models.

I dont have the vin number yet was looking at buying this boat. Just researching it as much as i can before i drive the 3 hours to get it .. Thanks though your seat configuration now looks awesome sweet ride
