I have a 2002 Supra SSV 22'.
How deep are people backing their trailer in when loading their boat?

Genera rule is to back the trailer into the water until there is about 1-2 inches of the trailer fenders out of the water.

I think it may depend on boat ramp, but I have a 2007 22 SSV and I have to have the fender wells completely submerged.

I agree with the boat ramp being the key factor.

We use a shallow ramp and I submerge the fenders and leave about 2-3 inches of the runners out.

But on a steep ramp I leave about a foot or more of the fenders out of the water.

It is all dependant about what works easiest for you.
