Hi all,

Im looking for some input on doing a complete service on my 2007 Supra 22 SSV.

Looking for the basics first...

What engine oil type and weight? Synthetic? 5w-20?

Trans fluid type, ATF Dextron II, III, or Merc?

Fluid for V-drive? 20w?

Thx for all the help.

Download the owners manual here and that should answer your fluid questions:

There are a bunch of threads on here that discuss the options people are using, like cross reference numbers for oil filters.

I've been using Rotella 15w40 for oil for years.

I've used several different types of filters. I change the oil at mid-summer and the end of summer.

Trans would be Dextron lll.

VDrive is a straight SAE30 weight. I've been using Pennzoil.

I also change the fuel filter each summer. After I burn my first tank of gas, I change that out. They are inexpensive.

V drive is also supposed to be non-detergent to prevent foaming. Non-detergent seems to have gone out with the Model T, though. Very hard to find.
