Has anyone found a safe way to travel with the tower down? I have a 2015 se550 with the z5 tower.

What is the driving force behind this? Just curious as I don't know of any reason why I would ever tow without the tower secured in the locked position.

I agree. Does the Z5 tower lock in a down position?

Are you thinking there would be an aero issue towing on the highway?

I was on a MC that had a tower that locked in the down position. It did not touch anything when in the lowered position.
