What lengths do we go through to get our boats under cover?

Yep, my tower has to collapse to fit in the stall, and I just rest it on a large towable tube we have (that's inflated), so it keeps the tower racks from pressing into the vinyl on the rear deck (and I don't have cans on the tower to worry about). Hey, inflated tube, 2 x 4, whatever it takes...

When I built my pole barn I put in a 14x14 door mainly to clear a motor home for resale. I have never had any issues with tower clearance.

I drop the tower down too, but usually just let everything rest on floor. I pull the rear seats up and that allows my Rev10's/tower to clear and rest on the floor. I don't leave the cover on when in storage because I open all the compartments anyway to air everything out, and my storage unit isn't open to other tennants, it's all secured and fully enclosed private garages. The exception to that is when I put it away for the final time at the end of the season. In that case, I put the cover on and raise the tower back up once it clears the door. My tow point makes the tower about 3" too tall to clear the door when I have the tower up, so it's gotta come down to get in, but I can put it back up once it is in. So mine looks like this when it's put away for the winter:

Love the banner!! Dry storage is expensive in my area. I can put my tower up, and the light pole will go between the beams, but it too is about 3-4 inches too tall to get in the entrance.

I'm curious what some of you pay for indoor dry storage.

I paid $129 for a 12 X 30 unit with large enough door the tower did not have to come down. It was 15 miles away from the house in a small town. Close by same size unit would have been 300. Now she's in my garage, so I have to clear snow off the truck.

Mine's 100 bucks/month for the one you see above. It's 26' deep.

That's a steal! $65-$95 for just covered storage around DFW.

I pay $195 for enclosed storage around Lake Lewisville in Dallas. It does give me access to a private ramp at the marina but it still hurts to write that check.

I currently pay $650 a year for a 11x30 stall that is tall enough to clear my tower. That price also includes access to a boat ramp.

i pay $1200 / month for a 20x40 garage with a dirt floor, power, water, and an oversized garage door, it just happens to be included in my mortgage payment lol.
