boat covers

When I lay my tower down to store my boat in the garage the cover does not fit. Am I doing something wrong or do I need to buy a new cover. Also what can you do about the mildew smell. My boat is 3 days old and stinks already from 1 trip.

klassik - Try fans. I have a 12" fan in a front seat compartment and another in the stern area. They face the same way to keep the air moving in one direction under the cover. They run all the time the boat is not in the water and draw very little 120 volt current. Keep the drain plug open and engine cover lifted three or four inches for air movement through bilge. Boat stays dry and fresh. Can't help on the tower question. - Deerfield
