How much compound, polish and was do I need for a 21 foot la brisa ? I'm seeing all these YouTube videos and they're doing a 2 foot square. I'm torn between buying the gallon or the meguiars 3 step bottles. Any help is appreciated again.

Can you share a few pics of your job at hand.

I sure can. I will post some pics up tomorrow. I peeled some terrible vinyl flames off today.working on finding something that's going to take the "ghost" stickers away and restore the black.

It may require wet sanding before the compound.

Look for a product called "Buff Magic" and give that a whirl.

I have personally used 3M Mold and Tool Compound. Use wool pads to get the best cut. 2 ft Sections just help maximize the compound effectiveness. The more confined area you keep, the better your results will be with which ever compound you go with. Most of todays compounds are progressive, where it starts out coarse, then progressively becomes more fine as you make your passes.

You are going to have to wet sand that off. I have a labrisa and religiously polish mine. I use 3m products. Perfect it, finesse it, glaze, then I finish it off with colonite Polish. I grabbed the big bottles last year and still have enough for a few more years. When I removed the original decals on my boat I had the same ghosting. Did a mild wetsanding then the above combination.

That's pretty far gone. I'd step down to a 600 and hand sand it up to 2500. Then I'd go with a 3M compound on foam pad, finesse it II and then wax. It's far less work than trying to do it with the machine and only the compound from the beginning.
