2016 Supra SA tower

Does anyone know if it is normal for the tower, when folded down, to be resting on only one of the two stop pads? On mine the right side is resting all the way down while the left side still has about an inch separation between the tower and stop pad. Thanks!!

my sg does the same thing. I actually removed the portside stop and it still does not rest on both but does go down farther by a couple inches.
