So I found a 1983 supra obviously it needs new Stringers and transom. motor runs great boat driver great. But motor has 1200hrs and Is this boat worth savings I tried to post sopme photo in a file but I guess I am newbie.
Anyways I think I can get the boat for $1500 plus a dock storage container worth 400$ :)
So if I tear boat down entirely myself and split it and rip out everything old stringers so there is nothing left.
Then have someone else do the stringers/transom and fiberglass work, how much do you think that will cost and IS IT WORTH IT? IS IT WORTH SAVING THIS OLD 80's SUPRA RIDER BOAT? Thanks for any input. And not the Interior it not that great, outside boat looks in good shape just needs a complete sanding.
I am guessing $1500-2000$

Be careful tearing out the old stringers whoever does the job will need to take measurements to get the deck height right.

If the trailer is in for that money the answer would be yes, if you're willing to do the work. I paid 2200 for a similar boat with much lower hours and I haven't done the stringers, and it's been a good boat for me.

I double checked its 1200 hours not 1800 :) Thanks I thought it was worth, yes comes with dual axle trailer.
Even if I have 3k into the restore for transom and stringers with some of my own man hours.
You Deff Cant buy a ski boat in good shape for less than 6k 7k
