So I found a deal local to me , guy has a Complete SBC , mercursier 255 with a velvet drive that has the reduction gear , he wants like 1k for the whole thing . Sad the water logs are cracked but he took both engines from another boat .
I know my plans are to rebuild the ford I have . But if you had to choose would you go with the SBC or just rebuild what I have .
