Hey guys,
Looking to pick up a new board for next season but having a hard time figuring out what to get, there are so many options. I've been surfing a few years but got my own boat late last season. I picked up a CWB Ride board/rope combo end of last season as something cheap and easy to ride. Like the board but I know I'm going to need something more aggressive. Thinking hybrid style as I want to start working g on spins and airs but I don't have the $$$ for two boards.
Any suggestions of boards I should look for? I'm 6' flat and 185 lbs.

Thanks in advance

I've been riding a Hyperlite Shim for 2 seasons now and can't say enough about it for an "off the shelf" in-between-er board. It's a little too fast for most to learn on, but once someone new has gotten in the pocket a few times, I can generally get them comfortable on the Shim. I'm 6'4" and 260lb, so I'm used to having undersized boards - even with the biggest options out there. I ride the bigger (5'4") Shim a little further forward than most.
