I don't know if I'm off base here but I might have an alternative solution I have a 20 SSV 2008 and I'm using a makeshift (Fake Lake) to do the job.
I went to Lowe's and bought a nine dollar toilet plunger and drilled a little hole in the rubber part to stick a garden hose in and then prop it up under the boat over the water intake for the engine. I was able to wedge it under the boat and it works great
This way you won't have to do any alterations to any holes in the boat.

My 2008 XLV has a Perko Flush Pro. $80 on Amazon

Or you can go to the plumbing store buy a TEE ball valve and a couple of barbed fittings and make your own manual valve:

Hi Jenvey, what fittings did you get? I went to my home Depot and couldn't figure out how to piece it together with what they had on hand. Did you find them in the garden section or plumbing?

Hay Darter you'll find it in the plumbing section.
Here is a pic of minehttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170202/ca9b696f795f1b5ae0d1e2e3e3851d47.jpg
I might be able to take a photo of it connect under my boat.

Thanks Jenvey. That's where I went wrong... I looked all over the garden section for the fittings and nothing looked like it would pass through a plunger and secure on both sides. I'll look in plumbing next time I'm there.

Both work. The Perko or Valves are pretty slick b/c you connect them and turn the water vs turning on the water and it sprays everywhere. $10 vs $80.
