My La Brisa sat out in the weather quite a bit before I got it. The "UV coating" on the tower speakers was yellow and cracking/peeling, totally gone in some places. I wanted to refinish them, as they work fine... I just hate how ugly they are.
I decided the cheapest and easiest route was just spraying them with plasti-dip. If it didnt turn out OK, the stuff peels off. I cleaned them, sanded as much of the bad spots as I could, then put the first coat on last night. Will sand the rough spots again then repeat that process with a couple more coats. Hopefully will turn out OK and last for a while. Will update with more pics once I'm done.
