Throttle problems

I have a 2005 Supra. The throttle will put the boat in forward or reverse but when I give it the gas nothing happens either in neutral or in gear. I can see the cable move both forward and back. Any suggestions!!! Thank you

There should be two cables, one for gear selection and one for throttle. Id say your throttle end may have come off the engine end or hand end or could be cactus. If its drive by wire, the plug in the throttle body or behind your hand lever may have come out. I think drive by wire came out in 06???????
