Steering assembly for 88 comp

Guys. Any of you know where I could get a steering assembly for my comp? It's getting to be quit a workout driving it.

Guys. Any of you know where I could get a steering assembly for my comp? It's getting to be quit a workout driving it.

I just replaced the cable and helm in my '88 comp this winter as well. The guys at Skidim are great and they will walk you through how to do it. One call and they gave me step by step instructions and sent me everything I needed. It handles like a brand new boat this spring.

Dissconnect the steerin cable at the rudder and turn rhe steerin wheel .That will tell you if its the cable.
