After many years of being a fairly solid old school skier (slalom, doubles, tricks, kneeboard) I finally got a real ski boat. So we had to get current with a wakeboard and surfboard. Since my brain thinks my feet should be pointing in the direction I'm going, this sideways stance is like starting all over from the beginning. So I took some old kid skis and mounted some bindings from an old broken pair of tricks and WOW, I'm having fun now. So much less effort than slaloming, now I can go a while before they have to drag me back into the boat! I got some neoprene shorts and I'm going wake to wake with three point landings, and entertaining wipeouts. Kind of like being young again, now maybe I'll be looking hard at a pair of wakeskis.18148

Check out Ski it again (http://www.ski-it-again.com/php/skiitagain.php?endless=summer&topic=Search&category=Trick) for used trick skis. Could get you to a nice pair in a hurry.
