Designed specifically to fit the 2009 24 with OEM platform. The hull shape and wrap made the suction up version a no go. Ran this for 3 seasons with excellent results and no platform issues. I stopped using the nylon strap as the turnbuckle locks this in place with ZERO movement.
The paddle is 12x22 with a 1 inch bottom taper, a 45 degree top and 50 degree bottom notch. The whole paddle face is beveled to ease water transition. The kick out is approx 22 degrees and the blade is set to follow the hull at about an 18 degree angle. 3/4 HDPE and stainless construction.
It works excellently - better lip, pocket and it allows for right hand course correction without washing the surf wave. My set up was 1100 port, 400 starboard, and 650 front. If we had a light crew I'd toss another 400 port. 10.2 - 10.4 MPH.
Upgraded to a 2017 with tabs.
