View Full Version : Trouble with hole shot/acceleration

I have a 2006 Supra Launch 21V with the Indmar Assault 325 and upgraded ballast. The past half dozen times out on the water, when I have the ballast loaded, I can't seem to get the boat to plane as quickly as it used to. I give it full throttle and it is slow to get to programmed perfect pass speed and really struggles to get past 13 mph. In addition, the perfect pass doesn't hold a steady speed, if programmed for 17.5 mph, it will speed up to 19.5-20 then slow down to 15. The dealership replaced the cap and rotor this spring and assured me that it would fix these issues. I don't believe that the extra ballast is the problem as it didn't have this problem in past seasons. Anyone have any ideas?

Any little damage to your prop? It doesn't take much to decrease the efficiency of the propeller.
