2004 Supra 22 SSV Starter Part Number

Does any one know the part number for the Indmar 5.7 engine?

BIL borrowed boat and it would not start even with new battery.

No activity or noise from starter.

Sounds to me like a sized solenoid. Try tapping the starter with a hammer prior to starting the boat. That might free the solenoid. If that does not work it could be the starter relay that have given up. If you locate the starter relay it is possible to jump it with a wrench or a screwdriver. Only try this if you are well insured or know what you are doing :)

Verify it is in neutral.
I shut the boat off one time with it in idle.
Everything electronic worked and spent 1 hr going thru everything like suggested.
Went back to try again, pulled on the throttle, heard a click and walla. Power.
Will never forget that solution first.

However, skidim has Indmar PT# 573001 for top mount starter.
