Hi guys,

I currently have a '81 Mastercraft stars and stripes and am looking at getting a V-drive boat.

The Supra i'm interested in is a 2007 22 SSV. Its is decent shape for the age; however, the center screen stopped working for the current owner (seller) and does not show the engine hours.

He estimates it has 350 - 400 hours but this isnt necessarily true.

Does anybody know how the engine hours are stored on this boat? Are they stored on the ECU? Is a screen replacement the only way to retrieve the boat's actual hours or can a scanner be used to download the engine hours? Any ideas for replacement costs for the screen?

Any other comments on the boat are appreciated.

Thanks,
Aidan A

Rare to find the big block motor in the 22'. Mostly found in the 24'

I would check with a dealer on the ECU hours. Read about this before. I would think they are stored in both places. But I'm not sure when it started and with what motors.
