The teak veneer particle board rotted out underneath the cupholders. This week I replaced it with traditional nautically patterned hard woods teak and holly. They turned out great and I can't wait to see how they look on my 1986 Saltare.
I've also included a picture of all the teak that was removed and polished. After much deliberation I decided to oil as opposed to varnish. I'm very happy with the results and also can't wait to see her all put back together.
