I have been looking at a 2007 Supra 21V at a local dealer and I am about to pull the trigger but wanted to share the link on here and get an opinion from you guys as to if this year and model have any issues and or if it’s worth it with all the options.

Also will eventually be selling my 87 sun sport with a big block and documented stringer rebuild as well

No issues to really note for that year.

Is anything upgraded on the boat?

What are you going to use it for?

The only issue you might find is vapor lock on a hot day. Some people find the ballast to be slow. Also, if you are at elevation you may want to consider swapping out the prop. Other than that I love our '06 21V!

That vapor lock was across all models around those years.
it happened to me once. I started using all 100% gas. No more issues.
Others have installed new fuel pumps.

Right about the ballast bags and pumps. Standard 400-600# bags are not that large to fill. Std system can cover it.

Move to larger surf sides of today, 1100#s in each locker, your fill times are bad.
Plus, will all the extra weight and higher elevations, that upgrade prop helps a bunch to get the boat out of the hole.

Old Tech vs New Tech

Sprinkler valve ballast manifold slows fill times, upgrade sprinkler valves or better yet change system to jabsco ballast puppies

There are a few threads like this - motorized ball valves. Hope this link works:

If the stereo has not been upgraded, those old Kenwood units will sound rough compared to the new stuff nowadays.
