View Full Version : 2017 sa—media connection error

Anyone ever run into this? Currently I’m getting this error (see photo). Also noticing the following:
1. Unable to play any audio from any input or setting.
2. None of the remotes are working, including steering wheel controls
3. Red icons appearing in top left of touchscreen (see photos)
4. Even with mute OFF, the volume stays at zero as I adjust the volume bar up and down from touchscreen (see photos)

Anyone else seen this or know of a remedy?

Did you try turning the boat off, breaker, and battery switches?
Let it set for a little time and then turn things back on.

Not much of a solution, but it works.

Same boat, same problem! Interestingly it only happens when I use the dashboard USB port with my iPhone. If I switch to the USB port behind the driver seat it works fine. Dealer tried updating software, changing the USB port, but connection error still happens on and off. There has to be a better solution than complete boat shut-down and wait (which often does not work.

I had the same issue in my 2016 SG. Dealer replaced the ice module (2020 or 2019)) and it was resolved. However, we have been having similar issues. Now, it has returned all the time. My phone shows it is connected but still nothing. It has to be to vision or audio module.issue. :???::???:
