So we just picked up a 2007 24SSV with a mint 155hrs on it. Bought a 1140lb bag for the port locker but had a question as to where you guys are placing your surf wedges? I have a SWELL carried over from my last boat (Moomba Outback DD)

With the stepped hull, there isn’t much space to place it that low in the water. Of course any pictures would help!

If you are running a suck-gate, weight the back lockers even or 80/20 surf side.

Thanks all for the help! I assumed correctly on the location but wanted to double check.

As for weighting, I plan to run the 1140 in surf side locker and stock 400 in opposite locker with stock 1150 up front.

Most of the 24s I know of run equal weight in the rear OR offset the surf side with some add'l lead weight/people.

Post some pics of the 1140/400.
