Swim Platform Removal

So with winter coming up, I'd like to get some of the oxidation off the rear end of the boat. Just wanted to find out, how is the swim platform secured to the boat? I know there are bolts that hold the brackets, but are the nuts accessible? 84 Comp....

I remove my deck often to fit it in storage. There are 3 brackets with screws fastening the deck down. If you want to remove the brackets from the boat, there are 2 bolts on each bracket that go through the hull. I would look before removing but the bolts on my boat were threaded into an aluminum plate.

Gotcha, I didnt want to remove the brackets if the gas tank etc was going to need to be removed. I'll try to take a look at that first.
