2007 Supra Launch Shift Problems

I have 2007 Supra Launch that has electric shift problems. Every now and then it won't go in forward or reverse. I have heard that this has been a problem. I called my dealer and they said they had not run across that problem and didn't know what it was. Does any one know what the fix is?

I did not realize that Skiers Choice had a "drive by wire" option for boats. I thought everything was an actual mechanical linkage for the steering and powerplant.
