Kenwood KTS-MP400MR

My left side has gone out. Everything I have read is there is not a good replacement if I want to keep my 2 Kenwood remotes that go with this radio. If anyone has a replacement that will work or another 400MR I would love to purchase.

I had the same problem with mine . I sent it in to Kenwood for repair they said that it had corroded solder joints and couldn't be repaired. Corroded solder in a marine radio that not only never saw salt water but was never outside unless being used???. I bought the new unit they recommended to replace it because they said it was compatible with the wired remote . It wasn't there is no replacement that will work. I will never buy Kenwood again Now the good news I found 2 working units on ebay I bought both so I have a spare . Your options are replace the entire system with anything except Kenwood or try ebay.
