View Full Version : 1991 Mariah trying to diagnose vibration

Riding on the lake pulling a tube and all of a sudden “bam” very loud sound then vibration. Almost like I hit something but I didn’t see anything and don’t see any marks or bent prop. I’m wondering if this is is my transmission

Does it make noise all the time or just when in gear?

Just when I’m gear. Isles fine and still wil go smoothly into FWD REV and N. Still has power. Not slipping just severe vibration. Took out of the water. As I suspected I don’t think I got anything. Prop is not bent or scratched. Looks good.

Never mind. After closer inspection prop is bent. One blade. Must have hit something submerged. Thanks!!!
