View Full Version : 2005 SSV Launch Starting issue

I went to start the boat today and it just went click click click click really fast and won’t turn the motor over and on. Hooked up a mobile jump start pack and turned right over and started. Ran it for 4 hours and then turned it off battery is reading 12 bolts and again click click click no start... any help on what to check cause the battery is charged and tested out as a good battery. Ran it for the past 3 days fine and just starting doing it today

Dead cell in the battery.. well show 12 volts until put under load eg starting. New battery required

Took battery in to store and tested out as a good battery no dead cells. Update, cleaned all connections which looked fine to start and that actually helped and solved the problem. Just didn’t think that could have caused it because they were clean and tight but that fixed the problem.
