1991 Supra Saltare parts

I have a '91 Saltare that's in need of a few items:

- Pads for fiberglass swim platform
- Handles for opening side windows


I live in Minnesota and the Supra dealer closest to me is over an hour away. I've ordered from them in the past but found their parts department to be rude, unhelpful and exceptionally slow. Also, when I ordered from them I paid to have the parts shipped to the dealership THEN paid to ship them to my residence -- they refused to ship directly to me thus making inexpensive parts unreasonable. To clarify, I paid more than the total cost of the items in shipping charges thus more than doubling the price of the parts. That's absurd.

Given my experiences with this dealership I'm looking for alternatives. My understanding is that Skier's Choice will not sell directly to me given that there's a dealership here in MN. What other options exist? Again, I'm looking for a couple simple things -- pads for my swim platform and handles for the side windows.

What I would give for the Supra dealership that was once on Lake Minnetonka to be reopened ...

Unfortunately that's not the window hardware I'm looking for. Below are two shots of what I need. These are made of plastic. A detail shot of where it attaches to the window is included.

For the swim platform I'd really like to use a thick, black neoprene matching what's currently on the boat. See below.

I haven't used the Gator grip stuff, but I think it is pretty thick? Other than that, I haven't had luck finding the exact stuff you have on your swim deck. I think this windshield vent latch is the thing...

I do know that Nautiques have similar rubber stuff with the 'N' logo in it, so you must be able to get it blank from somewhere... maybe try planetnautique or one of those forums?

I'm from Mtka as well. Try Boat windshields by Lorance. He bought out all of Supra's old stock and he may have the side window lever you're looking for. 508-328-1589
