I have a 1991 Comp. Rebuilt engine and carb, runs beautifully, except VERY loud. My mechanic is suggesting putting in Skidim mufflers, the 41204. Does anyone have any experience with Skidim mufflers? Do they work well?

I have a set on my 92 Mariah and it still sounds good, but it is not overly loud. Maybe like the difference between a performance muffler and straight pipes on a truck. Waaaaay quieter comparatively, but it doesn't sound like your father's Oldsmobile either.
