View Full Version : to fix or not to fix 84 beast

Ive been looking for a project wake boat for awhile now. i found this 84 beast. i think its a beast anyway, the guy says its a beast, it looks like a beast, but it has a 351.

anyway it has a crack in the hull. i'm pretty confident i can fix it myself, but would like some advice. the guy that owns it now put a metal patch over the it. he said the metal up the side was just for strength. and he sent me pictures of the crack before the "patch" with he didn't do that up the side.

Well thats the thing, i was planning on offering 1k the motor is strong and im planing on whatever i get will be a reservation down to the stringers. If im doing that im thinking that the hull wont be to bad to do some fiberglass on.
