Need help identifying probs 80s sunsport

Hey guys needing help identifying what to look for in buying a late 80s sunsport. I have a guy that is selling me this boat for cheap. Now going into this I know the stringers are going to need work, I’m planning for that. Can you guys give me any other tips in things I need to look at before buying. Just for the record I am doing this as a side project, not worried about the money or time aspect involved with restoring a boat. I’m interested in the learning process. Also not new to the tow boat world just new to the owning my own. Thank for any help offered!

Also on a side note, can anybody tell me what the perks of owning a sunsport vs say a comp, saltare, or Mariah offer. Thanks!

If you wanna take a couple of friends with you to the lake, buy a Comp.
If you wanna take your family with you to the lake, buy a Sunsport.
If you wanna take a couple of friends and family with you to the lake, buy a Saltaré.
